In the Studio This Week
This week we were in the studio recording with my friends, the famous Bill Schoening, Mike Vasquez and Steve Vague.
The Studio
Lessons and recording sessions are held either online, or in a private home studio near downtown Georgetown — a quiet, acoustically treated space designed for focused, distraction-free work. Parents are required to accompany all students under 18.
Lesson/Session Fees
In-person lessons
$35 per half hour
Piano, guitar and bass lessons at the home studio in Georgetown, Texas. They are suitable for beginners, or advanced.
Online lessons
$40 per half hour
Online piano, guitar and bass lessons, available no matter where you are located. For beginners or advanced.
Studio session
$75 per hour
Groups or individuals. Includes writing sessions, multi-track recording, mixing, and mastering.
Weddings & private parties
Solo piano or guitar
Nic is available as a pianist or guitarist for weddings and private parties in Georgetown, Austin and the greater Central Texas area.

Background
Nic Whitworth has spent his career doing what he loves most: making music, sharing it, and passing it on. From concert halls and recording studios to churches and living rooms, his journey has taken him around the world and back home to the heart of Texas, where he now calls Georgetown home.
Nic studied music at the University of North Texas, where he quickly made his mark in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene. By 1995, at just 20 years old, he had already earned a nomination for Keyboard Player of the Year. He soon hit the road professionally, spending more than a decade performing across the globe as a studio musician and live performer, sharing stages with legends like Willie Nelson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Pat Green, Gary P. Nunn, and the late Steve Fromholz, and even entertaining past U.S. presidents along the way.

When the road finally called for a rest, Nic settled in Austin and put down roots. Over the years he served as a church worship leader, mentoring volunteer musicians and students, and deepening a lifelong commitment to music as community.
Today Nic performs regularly throughout Georgetown, Austin, and the greater Central Texas area on both piano and guitar, and offers private lessons in person or online for students of all levels. He also runs a home studio where he records and produces music for a range of clients and projects. Whether he is on stage, in the studio, or working one on one with a student, Nic brings the same warmth, depth, and joy to every note.
